A leading foreign exchange provider for private and business customers. Multiple projects delivered from website, content management system, online marketing all following a digital strategy produced by Braid encompassing our unique Tapestry delivery system.
Halo Financial own Emigrate2, a leading emigration information website that attracts 30K visitors a month. The site was built on very old technology and needed a complete revamp and update. For speed we recommended the migrated to WordPress whilst the company reviewed the full customer journey and the full objectives of Emigrate2.
The project strategy and structure was developed with the client. We worked with a development agency to build the 2 websites for Talk Straight and Schools Broadband. To make it easy for the client to update the sites in the long run WordPress was used as the content management system. We also stipulated to the development agency that the usability of the WordPress theme had to be the same for each site to keep in-house training to a minimum.
We were asked by a client to assist them in preparing a website brief and sourcing a development agency to carry out the build of 2 websites within the Telecoms industry. We acted as web strategy consultants/web project managers for the business as they had no real in-house expertise in digital projects and had been stung by their previous agency.
Needlecase required a web site to complement their bricks and mortar business selling wool and sewing supplies. The market is quite vibrant and emerging at present thanks to the uptake of crafts at home, a full keyword research programme took place and the site was built around the research to a very modest budget. Full ecommerce solution has been implemented allowing an easy interface for the client to administer the website and products.
Donisthorpe Hall is a care home, in north Leeds. It makes some 4 star hotels look shabby. The team wanted a new website which presented all the qualities of the care home, along with the wider community connections. The website needed to act as a communication platform, providing news, fundraising opportunities and engagement with resident’s wider families.
Following appointment, we helped with the initial project launch, making additional suggestions such as use of an online tracking system for amends, creating a project definition doc, highlighting the recommended suppliers for photography and video. We offered to proof the new site once it was ready, prior to launch.
The challenge was to build a strategy, initially for their self build division that could be implemented and shown to work before producing similar digital strategies for the other divisions. A series of research tasks were conducted to establish the market position, competitor’s analysis, key words being searched, the market in general.
